It’s a Revival! Music Honoring Pumpkin

It’s a Revival!: History and Announcement:

Hey everyone, Krystal Bell aka Bells.the.Klown here, one of the founding crew, creatives, builders, and performers of Cirque Berzerk (CB) and Red Nose District (RND).

In 2005, CB bought a tent that would house two sold out seasons in LA. That same year the tent made its first appearance at Burning Man: the show was beyond capacity; People packed inside and spilling out into the desert.

In 2006, after a very on-brand carny debate, RND’s playa circus tent home was born.

That same year, we hosted our first big Thursday Dj night: curated and played by Nicholas Alvarado/Pumpkin (also Nick.the.Neck) and friends… Nick was also one of our founding CB/RND crew, performers, DJ, and music makers. He was someone who created space for people to belong inside sound.

Nick/Pumpkin passed away in 2016.

In honor of his life and 20 years of RND shenanigans, Art, Boenobo/The Klown, and I are hosting Wednesday night in the big top, a night about stepping back into a Pumpkin/Nick-like space…together.

The evening will open at sunset: a cocktail social, name tags, bubbles, and a chance to reconnect. Music brought to you by Bells.the.Klown spinning sets from Pumpkin’s/Nick’s closest friends, alternating back to back with Boenobo/The Klown live sets. Art is art directing and potentially creating an altar.
